Wiki Version:
Predictions/Questions On average, liberals should tend to favor the more liberal policy proposals, and conservatives should tend to favor the more conservative policy proposals for the race-proportional and race-blind conditions. Are conservatives and liberals differentially likely to use race in informing policy positions? We hypothesize that liberals will be more sensitive to the race manipulation within each scenario. We have no particular prediction of moderators. However, if a policy is strongly favored or disfavored, then that ceiling/floor effect could reduce sensitivity to the race manipulation.
