Description: This workshop addressed key issues surrounding the management and curation of data generated by interdisciplinary and highly collaborative research (IHCR), defined broadly as research that crosses disciplinary and institutional boundaries. The workshop was organized in two parts. During the first part participants learned about the practices of interdisciplinary research and approaches to interdisciplinary data curation in the context of the research data lifecycle. During the second part participants shared their experiences with interdisciplinary data curation and discussed how data professionals can change or improve their services to respond to the needs of IHCR.
