The release **1.0** of the **Negative Campaigning Comparative Expert Survey (NEGex)** dataset covers all national elections happened worldwide between June 2016 and March 2018. The data includes information for: - 73 national elections - 220 parties - 373 candidates The data is released at the elections, parties and candidates levels, in Stata and SPSS formats. Please contact the PI (a.nai@uva.nl) for data in other formats. When downloading the data, please make sure to read the **Data usage disclaimer**, saved in the "data" folder The documentation folder includes the codebook for the three datasets, the questionnaire, and a "coverage" sheet that summarizes the countries, elections, parties and candidates covered in the release 1.0 of NEGex.
