Wiki Version:
**README** **This OSF repository contains the supplementary materials to accompany the manuscript submission #1548 for VIS 2025. Included in this repository are:** 1. **Manuscript figures:** The full-resolution version of the figures included in the manuscript, with accompanying text file captions and descriptions of each of the figures (./manuscript-figures/). 2. **Table 1:** This table outlines the points comparing and contrasting predictions made by Schetinger et al. (2023) vs. realities of genAI use in BioMedVis. (./01 Table 1 Predictions vs Realities of GenAI in BioMedVis.pdf). 4. **Workflow and theme analysis:** Screenshots from our Miro board with descriptions that illustrate and detail our analysis process. A link to this Miro is available at https://miro.com/app/board/uXjVLdKIqFQ=/. These workflows and analyses have been cleaned of any information that may identify individual participants (./workflow-theme-analysis/). 5. **Full participant quotations** included in original manuscript (02 BioMedVis-GenAI_Participant Quotations.pdf). 6. **Interview guide and note-taking template:** The interview guide (03a BioMedVis-GenAI\_Interview-guide.pdf) and interview note-taking template (03b BioMedVis-GenAI\_Interview-notes-template.pdf) 7. **Additional supplementary figures** (./supplementary-figures/) with text file including captions and descriptions of each figure. **Please note:** Individual interview transcripts and documents where interviewer notes were taken cannot be included as they contain extensive identifying and other contextual information (e.g. discussion related to participants' specific roles, tasks, and/or named relationships with colleagues or others) that are not possible to redact in a meaningful way. Similarly, the complete list of interview transcript quotations that were coded during thematic analysis are not included for risk of missing any identifying details in the process of redacting. A few example quotations from the final manuscript, however, are included in the Miro board and screenshots.
