Wiki Version:
Template for VIP project ------------------------------- VIP projects are multi-disciplinary, vertically integrated and long-term. This template aims to provide a structure that can be adapted for individual VIP projects. Click *Read More* to find out more! For project management, it is possible to identify the different tasks the teams will complete and highlight requirements for these tasks. To use this template, use the Duplicate Template command under the Fork icon in the top right to make your own version of this project and then change that to fit your project. Help here: https://help.osf.io/hc/en-us/articles/360019930093-Create-a-Project-from-a-Template If you develop a better version, find this useful or have any suggestions for improvements, please let me know. **Tagging** In order for your work to be easily found, make sure to add tags. We recommend adding the tag VIP to all projects so that your project can be found by other VIPs. Other recommended tags include * your institutions (e.g., NUI Galway, GATech) * your disciplines (e.g., psychology, computer science) * your output or product (e.g., project, demo, prototype, paper, video) When you fork the project, you will replace the text in this section with the following: Title of the VIP project ------------------------------- Brief introduction to the area for a non-specialist - remember the first few lines is all most people will read as they scan by. Describe the project in a bit more detail below the Read More line. Let the reader know what is in this project (files etc) and what the components are that are attached Here are some ideas for sections you might include. **What inspires the project team?** * What is the real world problem that you are trying to solve * How does teamwork inspire you? * How does research inspire you? **What outputs have the team produced to date?** *You might list the outputs to date so that someone who finds your project can quickly get a feel for what you've done and note the components in which these are stored*
