These tables will not be included in C2M2 datapackage submissions by DCCs: they contain lists of permissible values for certain controlled fields inside some of the submitted tables. For example: the [subject_phenotype.tsv](https://osf.io/ykgjc/) table (part of a submission datapackage) has a field `association_type` to express the type of connection between the given `subject` and the given `phenotype`: "observed" vs. "ruled out". Permissible codes to express "observed" and "ruled out" in this field are given in the [phenotype_association_types](https://osf.io/druqa/) reference table below (not part of any submission; to be used only as a reference list, as in this example).
