**Update April 2017**: Since the end of the grant in late 2016, the team has decided not to move forward with further developing desktop sync the app at this time. It will not be publicly available. ---------- The COS team developed and piloted the Open Science Framework's **free desktop file syncing app**. Pilot tests allowed researchers to conduct their research on their local machine and automatically sync files to their OSF project(s). ----------
