Description: Psychological Science currently faces (a wide-spread realization of) several problematic issues. It has been suggested that a negative incentive-structure has possibly played a role in Psychological Science getting in this situation. The (results of the) problem may however also be the solution. Having received tenure might be the perfect time for Psychology Professors to (be able to) start to 1) think and act more in accordance with scientific values, principles, and responsibilities, and 2) try and help improve Psychological Science. It is reasoned that this might be because the negative incentive-structure may not affect them anymore, they could now be in the position to do so, they may now have the time to do so, and they would still have some time left for possible change.
