Description: In the Velten (1968) method, individuals are presented with mood-induction statements gradually increasing in valence (positive or negative), and are asked to read them out loud. This method has been used as an effective emotion induction method for decades. We wonder if we can create a visual equivalent to the Velten method, using affective images (IAPS).
