**East African Social Science Translation (EASST)** The [EASST Visiting Fellowship][1] offers East African researchers the chance to spend a semester at the University of California, Berkeley. These researchers will have support from a CEGA faculty mentor along with other PhD students who will provide training in research design, quantitative skills, grant writing, and presentation skills. The fellows will also receive in-depth, one on one training from a COS staff member on open and reproducible tools, methodologies, and workflows.
