Based on my extensive experience using this task, I no longer recommend that others make use of it in their work. Responses on the task are exceptionally noisy, and there is strong evidence to believe the literature contains a significant degree of publication bias and/or p-hacking. IMPORTANT NOTES:
The IRAP is frequently employed as an indirect measure of implicit attitudes. It is one of few measures, along with the Relational Responding Task, that can include propositional information rather than associative information.
