Narrative identity in older adults with Alzheimer Disease, Major Depression, and controls

The early loss of recent autobiographical memories in Alzheimer Disease (AD) is said to impact the sense of identity. We measure narrative identity as brief entire life narratives and compare them to those of clinically depressed (D) and non-clinical controls (C) parallelised on age, gender, and education. The project is a cooperation between Tilmann Habermas, Goethe University Frankfurt/International Psychoanalytic University Berlin, and Stefan Frisch, Pfalzklinikum Klingenmünster. It was run without external funding.
