Wiki Version:
# CSV file Dataset from Roettger et al. (2014), J. Phonetics, which is a subset of data from [this OSF project][1] (Experiment 1). Each subject read singular forms of nonword nominals (e.g. 'gop') in response to auditory primes containign either a voiced or voiceless variant (e.g. gobe, gope). Phonologically, the singular form of each item in a prime pair is expected to be identical. Each speaker produced one repetition of each target item in response to 24 such critical pairs. Description of some columns: * *subject, subject_name, male*: information about the subject * *item* : plural form of the nominal * *item_singular* : singular form (what was read by the subject) * *voicing*: voicing (voiced or voiceless) of the word-final stop * *item_pair* : which pair of *item*'s this *item* belongs to * *order*: within-subject trial order * *vowel*: identity of vowel before the word-final stop * *stop*: word-final stop * *utterance_length*: how long the carrier utterance is * *accent_type*: word accent (actual realization in utterance) * *prosodic_boundary* : does a prosodic boundary follow the word * *vowel_dur* : duration of vowel preceding the word-final stop (the response variable) ## RDS file Data file resulting from running simulations reported in the (Kirby & Sonderegger) paper. This takes several days. [1]: https://osf.io/y7tdq/
