In this project, we aim to investigate changes of goal focus across the entire lifespan. The term goal focus refers to whether a person concentrates on the means by which to achieve a goal or the outcome resulting from goal attainment.
The main challenge and aim of this project is to investigate infancy and childhood as well as adulthood. In order to gain an overview of goal representations across the lifespan, we include different methods (i.e. eye-tracking, observation of behavior, questionnaires) and settings (i.e. skill acquisition).
