Wiki Version:
the folder contains the MATLAB functions for estimating and testing the DAM4C and the pure discrimination model. The functions must be used in this order: 1) multiprm: estimates parameters of the DAM4C; 2) chi2test: computes Chi2 statistic on the parameter estimates obtained at point 1). The functions "loglike" and "prmpdf" are used by function "multiprm". DAM4CTemplate: template for estimating the DAM4C DAM4CTemplate_purediscr: template for estimating the pure discrimination model. The functions have been written in MATLAB R2017a. For reproducing the parameter estimates in Stefanutti et al. (2020), the latencies in milliseconds must be divided by 100. The functions are free. When using them, please cite: Stefanutti, L., Robusto, E., Vianello, M., & Anselmi, P. (2013). A discrimination–association model for decomposing component processes of the Implicit Association Test. Does discrimination beat association in the IAT? The discrimination-association model reconceived. Manuscript submitted for publication.
