**The intrastate dynamics of mental states predict other mental state features** This project uses data collected from [mysocialbrain.org][1] to examine the explanatory power of the intrastate dyanmics of a series of 166 mental states. Using a curve-drawing paradigm, particiapants completed a task during which they used a cursor to draw the time-intensity curves of a series of presented mental states. We used this data to conduct a represenational similarity analysis so as to compare the similarity structure of intrastate dyanmics with the similarity structures of other features of these same mental states, namely: 1. Pairwise similarity 2. Transition probability 3. Lingustic similarity - cross-language and cross-country 4. Neural similairity 5. Neural activation probability maps using Neurosynth [1]: http://mysocialbrain.org **File Organization** The data folder contains all inputs into analyses. The outputs folder contains data that has been reformatted for analyses as well as results. The code folder contains all analysis and visualization code.
