**Study Materials (in English).** Please find copies of our Demographic Questionnaire, Life Orientation Test, and experimental measures for our University of Oregon sample. Participants are randomly assigned to one of four conditions using a Latin-square design, and then presented with eight setting-specific vignettes in which commitment, agency, and control are manipulated. We have included an example of each of the four conditions of the experimental measures.
