Description: In the present study we investigate the influence of wearing a face mask on interpersonal distance in Virtual Reality. A supermarket scenario was presented where participants had to pass virtual agents in a virtual supermarket aisle. We manipulated whether partcipants wore face masks (yes, no, between-subject factor), agents wore face masks (yes, no, within-subject factor) as well as agent age (young, old, within-subject factor) as within-subject factors.
