# Welcome Welcome to my OSF for my graduate program. Here I will add all information about and regarding my project. Project Title: Cross Environmental Compartment Analysis of Arctic Organisms and Potential Application of this Data This project is being completed in the Steinke lab, with collaboration from the Hanner and Clair labs. Goals: * To utilize emerging eDNA techniques to preform a twi-environmental compartment analysis * To help better understand the movement of DNA through the arctic ecosystem * To aid in the monitoring of high arctic ecosystems and organisms Novelty * Provides comprehensive ecosystem monitoring * Detection of rare and elusive species * Non-invasive monitoring * Provides a solid base for temporal and spacial monitoring Sampling Methods * Sediment, water and air samples collected from the Canadian arctic (Nunavut and NWT) * Sediment via soil cores * Water and air via pump and filters Extraction Methods * Metabarcoading Statistical Analysis * Using RStudio My Pre-registration [View my knitted Pre-reg](https://osf.io/x6w7t) @[OSF](x6w7t)
