It is free and license under the GNU Public License v3. PLM? In a nutshell, it’s a software that helps people who work on product development i.e. Doctors, Engineers, Technicians… managing their technical data like CAD files, ECAD files, source codes but also Ms Office/OpenOffice/LibreOffice/GoogleDoc files. It’s a common vault where all data are stored in a single copy. It makes them easy to find and accessible from remote locations. It’s a system which also describes the product structures (or BOM) and their changes over time. That way, it ensures full traceability of the product and associated data from first marketing sketches to production and maintenance stages. ### Credits openPLM is mostly developped by LinObject. openPLM ships with the following third party libraries: jQuery, http://jquery.org/about/, licensed under the MIT or GPL Version 2 licenses jQuery-UI, http://jqueryui.com/about, licensed under the MIT or GPL Version 2 licenses Chosen, a Select Box Enhancer for jQuery and Protoype by Patrick Filler for Harvest, http://getharvest.com, licensed under the MIT license hoverIntent by Brian Cherne, http://cherne.net/brian/resources/jquery.hoverIntent.html, licensed under the MIT and GPL licenses showLoadings by Jim Keller, http://www.contextllc.com, Dual licensed under the MIT and GPL licenses jQuery Cookie plugin by Klaus Hartl [stilbuero.de], licensed under the MIT and GPL licenses Raphaël, a JavaScript?
