This project comprises materials for a project evaluating the impact of COVID-19 and forced switch from face-to-face psychological therapy to teletherapy on eating disorder treatment outcomes.
The main results are reported in the following publication:
Raykos, B.C., Erceg-Hurn, D. M., Hill, J., Campbell, B. & McEvoy, P. M. (2021). Positive outcomes from integrating telehealth into routine clinical practice for eating disorders during COVID-19. *International Journal of Eating Disorders*. https://doi.org/10.1002/eat.23574
An open-access copy of the accepted manuscript can be found [here][1].
The public repository comprises code for all analyses conducted for the paper. This includes those reported in the published paper, as well as some supplementary analyses. The supplementary results were included in the original submission to the journal but cut during the peer-review process in response to feedback from the action editor and reviewers, who wanted the manuscript shortened from a full-length paper to a brief report.
The folder `r code and output` contains [R markdown][2] files (i.e., R code and text) and kitted HTML output. Most users will want to download and view the HTML files in their web browser. These contain plots of each patient's trajectories of change in symptoms over therapy, the output of pooled analyses, etc.
The `publication_tables_graphs` folder contains files used to generate figures and graphs in the manuscript.
The `survey` folder contains supplementary materials related to a survey about telehealth and COVID-19 conducted with our clinical sample.
