This paper describes a book-related model, primarily focused on Open Access monographs. It can be used in discussions with those who are interested in this subject, but who are not familiar with the subject, or may serve as a teaching tool. With the introduction of the different elements, relevant literature will also be discussed. The model describes the main aspects of Open Access book publishing, along with the stakeholders, and it depicts the interests of the stakeholders and the aspects they have influence on.
