Wiki Version:
SIPS Sibs is an initiative to increase inclusivity and reduce barriers to attendance at the conference meeting for members who may feel isolated and/or intimidated. The idea is to provide newcomers ("little sibs") with the opportunity for informal contact prior to conference meeting with someone who has attended the conference at least once before ("big sib"). This would create an opportunity to ask and answer questions, and potentially meet at social events during and prior to the conference.
