Wiki Version:
The Harmonised POLPART dataset is a subproject of the POLPART project funded by the ERC Advanced Investigator program. The full title of the project reads ‘How citizens try to influence politics, and why? International comparisons of movement and party politics.’ The project compares participation in contentious and non-contentious politics in various countries within a single theoretical and methodological framework. The Harmonised POLPART dataset was created as a subproject of the wider POLPART project with the aim to collect a large amount of individual-level data on political participation and to combine this with data on the socio-political context of countries all over the world. Funding: ERC Advanced Grant 2014, no 339829 'How citizens try to influence politics and why?’ (POLPART) Principal investigator: Prof.dr. P.G. Klandermans For any questions regarding the Harmonised POLPART dataset, please contact Twan Huijsmans (t.m.huijsmans@uva.nl)
