Wiki Version:
These are stimulus and data files as well as code for frequency filtering and data analysis for: Sabrina Perfetto, John Wilder, and Dirk B. Walther (2020) Effects of spatial frequency filtering choices on the perception of filtered images, *Vision* 4(2), 29. doi: [https://doi.org/10.3390/vision4020029][1] [Video presentation.][2] In this paper we show the effect of different choices when filtering images for spatial frequencies on scene perception. In three effects we show the effect of: 1. Contrast normalization 2. Filter shape 3. Displaying HSF images with dark lines instead of a mix of dark and bright lines. We here provide all stimuli used int he experiment, the code for filtering the images, the raw behavioral data, and code for analyzing and plotting the data.
