**Instructions - 1st screen** In the following task you can earn extra money for yourself and for the charity People in Need. Based on your actions in the task, you can gain or lose points for yourself and the charity. The points will be converted to money at the end of the experiment by the rate 10 points = 1 CZK. --Controls-- Your task is to sort pictures appearing on the screen. The pictures can have a shape of a circle, triangle or square and they can be blue, orange or yellow. Each picture can be sorted to one color and one shape by pressing 1, 2, or 3 on the numeric keyboard. Which color and shape are currently associated with keys 1, 2, and 3 can be seen in the bottom part of the screen. For example, now you see in the bottom line that the orange color and the triangle shape are associated with the key 1. If a picture appeared on the screen and you pressed the key 1, the picture would be sorted to the orange color and the triangle shape. ![enter image description here][7] During the task, you will always see which color and shape are currently associated with the keys 1, 2, and 3. Be careful – after each sorted picture, the association of colors and keys will change, therefore you have to watch it carefully. --Gaining of points-- The size of the contribution to the charity by laboratory PLESS depends on whether you will sort pictures according to the COLOR. The contribution has a size of 2000 points at the beginning. If you sort a picture to a different color than is the color of the picture, the contribution will be lowered by 200 points. If you sort a picture to the same color as is the color of the picture, the contribution remains unchanged. (It is possible to get to the negative values – in that case, the overall contribution by all participants will be lowered by the corresponding amount.) Your reward is 0 points at the beginning. You earn 3 points for each sorted picture, regardless of the color and shape to which you sort it. Only if you do not sort a picture at all (i.e., you do not press any key), you will not receive any points. During the task, you can increase your reward, if you sometimes ignore the rule about sorting according to the COLOR and sort some pictures according to their SHAPE instead. If you sort a picture with a number written in it according to the SHAPE, you earn the same number of extra points for yourself as is the number written in the picture. Sorting according to the COLOR and according to the SHAPE sometimes does not differ – for example, by pressing the key 1, you would now sort an orange triangle both to its corresponding color and its corresponding shape. In other cases, sorting according to the COLOR and SHAPE may differ: if you wanted to gain points for yourself in such cases and sorted the picture to an incorrect color, the contribution to the charity would be lowered by 200 points. You could of course ignore the extra points and sort the picture to the corresponding color. Svým jednáním v úloze můžete pro sebe a pro charitu získávat nebo ztrácet body, jež se na konci experimentu převedou na peníze dle kurzu 10 bodů = 1 Kč. --Ovládání-- Vaším úkolem bude třídit obrázky objevující se na obrazovce. Obrázky mohou mít tvar kruhu, trojuhelníku nebo čtverce a modrou, oranžovou nebo žlutou barvu. Každý obrázek lze stisknutím klávesy 1, 2 a 3 na numerické klávesnici zatřídit k jedné barvě a k jednomu tvaru. Jaká barva a jaký tvar jsou právě spojeny s klávesami 1, 2 a 3 můžete videt v dolní části obrazovky. Například teď v dolním řádku vidíte, že s klávesou 1 je nyní spojena oranžová barva a trojúhelníkový tvar. Pokud by se teď na obrazovce objevil obrázek a Vy byste stiskl(a) klávesu 1, zatřídíte tento obrázek k oranžové barvě a trojuhelníkovému tvaru. ![enter image description here][7] Během úlohy bude v dolní části obrazovky vždy vidět, jaká barva a jaký tvar jsou právě spojeny s klávesami 1, 2 a 3. Pozor – po zatřídění každého obrázku se spojení barev a kláves změní, musíte je proto pozorně sledovat. --Získávání bodů-- Výše příspěvku, který PLESS odvede na charitu, závisí na tom, zda budete obrázky třídit dle BARVY. Příspěvek má na začátku hodnotu 2000 bodů. Pokud obrázek zatřídíte k jiné barvě, než je barva obrázku, příspěvek se sníží o 200 bodů. Pokud obrázek zatřídíte ke stejné barvě, výše příspěvku pro charitu se nezmění. (Je možné se dostat i do záporných hodnot – o zápornou sumu se v takovém případě sníží celkový příspěvek věnovaný na charitu za všechny účastníky studie.) Vaše odměna je na začátku 0 bodů. Za každý zatříděný obrázek získáte 3 body, bez ohledu na to k jaké barvě nebo tvaru ho zatřídíte. Pouze pokud obrázek nezatřídíte nijak (tj. nestisknete žádnou klávesu), nezískate za něj žádné body. Během úlohy můžete svoji odměnu ještě dále zvýšit, pokud budete někdy ignorovat pravidlo o zařazování dle BARVY a některé obrázky místo toho zatřídíte dle TVARU. Pokud obrázek s vepsaným číslem zatřídíte dle TVARU, získáte pro sebe navíc počet bodů odpovídající vepsanému číslu. Zatřídění dle BARVY a dle TVARU se někdy neliší - například oranžový trojúhelník teď klávesou 1 zatřídíte k odpovídající barvě i odpovídajícímu tvaru. V jiných případech se ale zatřídění dle BARVY a dle TVARU může lišit: pokud budete chtít v takovém případě získat pro sebe body navíc a zatřídíte obrázek ke špatné barvě, příspěvek na charitu se sníží o 200 bodů. Samozřejme můžete body navíc ignorovat a obrázek zatřídit k odpovídající barvě. Vaše odměna Vám bude vyplacena po skončení dnešní studie.
