# Happiness Diary Data ## Overview This component contains the data from an online diary study (conducted with the help of [formr][1]) on various aspects of well-being and personality, as well as the necessary documentation to understand the data. The study was conducted in German and consisted of three parts: - an initial questionnaire (**"start"**; basic demographics, satisfaction with life, ratings of the roles of various life domains, meaning in life questionnaire, 30 item version of the BFI 2, positive and negative affect in general, self-insight scale) - diary questionnaires repeated every 3 days (**"daily"**; satisfaction with life, positive and negative affect, domain satisfaction) - a final questionnaire (**"end"**, satisfaction with life, ratings of the roles of various life domains, meaning in life questionnaire, positive and negative affect in general) Overall, 539 people finished the start questionnaire; 6.181 diary entries were provided; and 362 people finished the end questionnaire.
