In final_data_covid_norm_salience_240906_SMD.xlsx, we provide disaggregated counts of the number of articles mentioning a given measure (vaccination, mask-wearing, and the contact tracing application) per week, per media outlet. In the study, the number of articles mentioning a given measure constitutes our measure of salience. Aggregate statistics are also provided for each week (Sum, Mean, Median and Standard Deviation columns) and for each media outlets (Sum, Mean, Median and Standard Deviation rows). The document therefore contains three tables, one for each measure, as well as a fourth table with useful information on the media outlets analyzed.
In salience_per_outlet.xlsx we aggregate the number of articles mentioning a given measure (vaccination, mask-wearing, and the tracing app) by each media outlet over the full period of study.
