This study is intended for people who have witnessed directly, or know of, harassment and/or discrimination. To maximise reach and target individuals who are likely to respond, the research team is liasing with NGOs and charities who are committing to protecting the rights of individuals with protected characteristics. For example, we have confirmation that All Together Now will distribute the survey. All Together Now is a charity that provides a comprehensive news and information service for people whose lives are affected by disability, ill-health and age. The organisations we liaise with will distribute the link via their email list to members of their organisations, and/or will distribute the link via their press outputs and social media channels. We will also approach various larger press outlets, including The Independent, to see whether they are able to distribute the link to our survey, but understand that it is likely that they will not do so. The aim is to reach a large sample (1000+ participants) of diverse adults who have been employed at some point over the past three years.
