Description: This downloadable .zip file multimedia package contains seafloor video snippets collected from the Langseth Ridge sponge ground and 3D downloadable seafloor models for viewing with ‘Adobe Acrobat Reader 12’ or similar software applications. Model S1. 3D .pdf seafloor model of sponge trails on low angle (< 2o) seafloor, with one sponge trail clearly passing directly over an underlying trail. Derived from colour images collected during NUI dive 015. Model S2. 3D .pdf seafloor model of area of Karasik seamount with 100% sponge and spicule coverage, showing 3D weaving structures remaining on the seafloor following sponge movement. Derived from OFOBS collected HD video frames presented in V2_sized (82-90 seconds into the video).V2_sized. .mp4 video snippet of Langseth ridge summit flank. Sponge trails are particularly evident in areas where less spicule mat is present, and the darker, underlying worm tubes are visible.
