Description: This repository hosts data and code for an EEG experiment investigating event-related potential (ERP) correlates of decision confidence in a perceptual decision task. This was labelled the 'confidence waffles' experiment in our lab, and so code + data files are tagged with this label. The 'waffles' part refers to the appearance of the plaid stimuli, as well as being a nod to DF's love of Liege waffles. This dataset includes measures of task performance (RT, accuracy and confidence ratings), ERPs, and ERP mean amplitude measures for multiple ERP components. These include the centro-parietal positivity (CPP), a frontal component measured prior to the time of the keypress response, and the error positivity (Pe) component. EEG analyses were performed using conventional ERPs and also current source density (CSD) transformed data. Information about the structure of this repository is in the README file.
