The main aim of this study is to test whether exposure to a fault smelling “body odor”(valeric acid, a sweat-like odor) will boost negative implicit association towards the disgust relevant group (Roma People), as compared to positive (lilac essence) and neutral (no odor) conditions. This pattern should be more evident in a version of the IAT that assesses the association with disease-related concepts and thus with the functioning of the so-called behavioral immune system (BIS). Secondary aims of the study is to further the understanding of the possible moderator role of body do disgust sensitivity (BODS) and the possible mediator role of social (but not economic) conservatism
