Project content This project contains information about materials, data and analysis scripts for the manuscript "Wisdom Comes with Age? The Role of Grammatical Gender in Predictive Processing in Russian Children and Adults" by Anna Aumeistere, Sybrine Bultena, and Susanne Brouwer. This work has been published in Applied Psycholinguistics. Materials In the folder Materials, the materials can be found. Target_Sentences.xlsx contains an overview of the Russian target sentences that were presented in this study. Target_Sentences_Translated.xlsx contains the same target sentences translated in English. The audio_stimuli folder contains the wav or sound files that were presented in this study. The video_stimuli folder contains the visual displays with two pictures (target and distractor) for four different orders (experimental lists). Data and analysis script In the folder Data and analysis script, the preprocessed eye gaze data can be found for the children (data_children.rdat), adults (data_adults.rdat), and for the combined data (data_all.rdat). The R analysis script contains code to analyze the data with mixed-effects logistic regression analyses (Analysis.Rmd).
