Description: This archive contains study samples and de-identified participant responses from the Tire Impression Black Box Study. The study samples are comprised of 77 questioned-known comparisons sets (QKsets), each containing high resolution images as provided to participants in the Noblis Tire Impression Black Box Study. These responses and samples were collected for the research study “A Black Box Study of the Accuracy and Reproducibility of Tire Evidence Examiners’ Conclusions”, sponsored by a grant from the National Institute of Justice (2020-DQ-BX-0026). The contents of this archive may be used without restrictions, but any usage must include the following citation: Noblis, Tire Impression Black Box Study Dataset (Oct 2023).
