Description: This project contains the preregistration and open materials for two studies. Research question 1 in the preregistration is reported on in study 1. Research question 2 in the preregistration is reported on in study 2. The open materials for both studies are available in different components with reference to the title of the respective study. Note that for the same variables different names are used in preregistration and manuscript. An overview of these name differences is given in the additional file 'Clarification_Variable_Names.docx'. Some algorithms (dynamic complexity, ts_levels) used in these studies are now available as functions in the R-package casNET: https://fredhasselman.github.io/casnet/ Study 1: Olthof, M., Hasselman, F., Strunk, G., Aas, B., Schiepek, G., & Lichtwarck-Aschoff (2019). Destabilization in Self-Ratings of the Psychotherapeutic Process is associated with Better Treatment Outcome in Patients receiving Psychotherapy for Mood Disorders. Psychotherapy Research. Study 2: Olthof, M., Hasselman, F., Strunk, G., Van Rooij, M., Aas, B., Helmich, M.A., Schiepek, G., & Lichtwarck-Aschoff (2019).
