Wiki Version:
This section contains all the raw data for Experiment 1, Experiment 2, and Experiment 3. Each folder has a README CODEBOOK file that explains each variable in all files. Below is a brief outline of the files. For Experiments 1 & 2 (children): The data from the primary task, the Social Evaluation Task, is one .csv file per participant, and so each of those raw data are in the folder for this task. The data from the two secondary tasks (reported in supplemental only) were tracked by hand by the experimenter, and then inputted into a single .xlsx file containing performance on both tasks for all participants. The data about the participants (age, gender, exclusions, etc) are in the participant list csv file For Experiment 3 (Adults): There are several different files with different blocks of the task depending on what order the adult received the blocks in and etc (just because of how Gorilla outputs data). The README file (and the analysis file) explain each of these data sets. In addition to the raw data, for ease of use the "Organized Data" folder has three .csv datasets (one for each experiment) that contains the long-form (i.e., tidy) data for the Social Evaluation Task. These datafiles were created in order to make it easier for others to use without going directly to the raw data, but it should be noted that the analysis code is written to work directly from the raw data.
