The project primarily aims to explore the immediate physiological and psychological consequences, which may occur when women discontinue combined oral contraceptives (COCs). Further, we want to capture the own personal views of women who discontiuned COCs. The project consists of three individual studies: (1.) a quantitative and qualitative Analysis of YouTube videos, (2.) episodic guided interviews with women who discontinued COCs, and (3.) expert interviews with health professionals in the German health care system, who work with affected women.
