Wiki Version:
Dear reader, On this page we have uploaded all data of the experiments reported in the paper "The elusive nature of the blocking effect: 15 failures to replicate" by Maes et al. (DOI: 10.1037/xge0000200). Where possible we have provided trial level information. Further, the JASP files are provided. JASP (Love et al., 2015) is a statistical program that allows the user to conduct Bayesian statistical analysis in a very comprehensible way. The program can be downloaded for free from The JASP files do not only contain the results, but also provide information about which tests were exactly conducted and how. Lastly, the pdf file 'Meta-analyses and robustness tests' provides the R code and results of the regular Bayesian t-tests, the Bayesian meta-analyses and the robustness analysis. For all data files, the following applies: Group 1 = Experimental group; Group 2 = Control group Kind regards, Elisa Maes If you make use of these resources, please drop us an email: tom.beckers@kuleuven Please contact Prof. Dr. Tom Beckers (tom.beckers@kuleuven) for general questions or Dr. Angelos-Miltiadis Krypotos ( for questions concerning the Bayesian analyses.
