Description: The Journal Of Contemporary Urban Affairs is dedicated to focuses on socio-economic consequences of contemporary urbanization. In this regard, studies on conflict and divided territories, emerging cities, infra habitation, slums, affordable houses, gated communities, revitalization and rapid urbanization which are the main socio-economic challenges in the contemporary urban spaces considered for publication in this journal. Recently, the editorial board of the journal have been added “Pandemic and its socio-economic consequences on cities” as additional scope to be considered for publication. Contributions are welcome from across the full range of social science disciplines and are expected to advance empirical and theoretical knowledge on contemporary urban affairs - by considering the main scopes of the journal - both from positive and normative perspectives. Highest priority is given to research reports that are specifically written for a multidisciplinary audience.
