Study design This is a scoping review guided by the recommendations of the JBI Institute Reviewer's Manual (JBI, 2020), according to the theoretical framework proposed by Peters et al. (2020), from the nine steps: 1) definition and alignment with the research objective and question; 2) development and alignment of inclusion criteria; 3) description of the planned approach to finding evidence, selecting, extracting data and presenting evidence; 4) search for evidence; 5) selection of evidence; 6) extraction of evidence; 7) analysis of evidence; 8) presentation of results; and 9) summary of evidence in relation to the purpose of the review. Objective To identify and map the essential competencies for the practice of school nursing regarding the development of anti-bullying strategies. Sample size The study population will made up of scientific articles, theses, dissertations, manuals and and reports from scientific societies that competencies of school nurses for the prevent school bullying. Inclusion criteria Will be included: research published in full in Portuguese, Spanish or English. Exclusion criteria The following will be excluded: books/book chapters and preprint reports, as they have not gone through a peer review process. Data collect Search for similar scoping reviews A preliminary search was carried out independently by three researchers in the following databases: OSF, JBI CONNECT +, The Cochrane Library and PROSPERO, and no protocols and reviews with similar themes were identified. Search strategies and databases The bibliographical research will be sourced from the following evidence sources: Scopus, WoS, APA PsycINFO, Embase, ScienceDirect, MEDLINE/PubMed, CINAHL (EBSCOhost), ERIC, LILACS, BDENF, IBECS, Cochrane Library. The boolean operators of AND (to narrow our search) and OR (to broaden our search) and NOT (to narrow our search). Grey literature will be included by searching unpublished theses and dissertations, conference proceedings, government reports and scientific society reports: CAPES Theses and Dissertations Portal, Open Access Scientific Repository of Portugal (RCAAP), ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global (PQDT), National Association of School Nurse's (NASN), Asociación Madrileña de Enfermería en Centros Educativos (AMECE), Virtual Library of the Federal Nursing Council of Brazil and Google Scholar. Data extraction The following data will be extracted from a spreadsheet built in Microsoft Excel 2010: Type of publication, year, country, author education, type of research and methodological approach, types of nursing practices/activities, competencies identified in bullying prevention, benefits of professional competencies, as well as the main conclusions relevant to the review questions. Data synthesis Data will be summarized descriptively (n; %) and Preferred reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta -Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA -ScR ) .
