[Instructions to Submit Class Activity Examples][1]. Once the data are public, the EAMMi2 could be used worldwide to help teach statistics and methods. Please help us create the resources to make that happen. **Instructions to Apply to EAMMi2 Travel Grant.** Because there are so many contributors, We will award six $250 awards based on a first come, first serve basis using the following criteria: 1. presentation was accepted 2. need - not otherwise funded 3. prestige of presentation (rank order -- invited talk, symposium, oral presentation, poster presentation) 4. quality of presentation (evaluated by proposal abstract) 5. EAMMi2 contributor status (planning committee priority) If you are interested in applying for one of those $250 awards, please prepare an application letter addressing the criteria above and send it to Jon Grahe (graheje@plu.edu<mailto:graheje@plu.edu>). Please contact *Jon Grahe* at his Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) email address if you are interested in joining the **EAMMI2: The Next Generation** project. ***PARTICIPATE NOW*** ---Please complete [this google sheet][2] and provide contact information if you are ready to join the project. If you know of an Emerging Adulthood researcher who would like to participate in the **EAMMI2** project, please direct interested parties to this OSF page. ***Qualified contributors*** include faculty and graduate students or undergraduates with a faculty sponsor. This is intended to provide EA researchers with high impact data, instructors with an easy to integrate project for their classes, and students with an opportunity to engage in authentic research as part of their learning experience. The EAMMI2 obtained funding in small grants from the APS Teaching Fund and a Regency Award from Pacific Lutheran University to help recruit using a raffle awarding a $25 Amazon Gift Card to one of every 50 respondents (see all [funding sources here][3]). **Sample Contributor Expectations**. Contributors must obtain local IRB approval; Commit to obtaining a sample with the following goals (Goal: N = 100, with at least 25 non-college students; Minimum is N = 80). Note. If local samples exceed plan (N > 100), contributors will be asked for **$25** for every 50 respondents over 100. For example, if PLU collects 150 Jon Grahe would donate $25, and 200 respondents would invoke a donation of 50, and so on. However, if N nears the next 50 respondent threshold (e.g. 149), donations for the next tier are welcome, but not requested. Please see further instructions for sampling and procedure in that EAMMI2 component ([https://osf.io/5pdvy/][4]). *BENEFITS TO PARTICIPATION* **Access to anonymous data.** Sample contributors are eligible to access the data when the project closes (Dec, 2016). Instructors can receive the data from their own sample after completion of recruiting. **Authorship on Psychometric Paper.** All contributors who contribute a sample > 80 will be added as coauthors to a manuscript reporting on the psychometric properties of the Markers of Adulthood and IDEA-8 scales. **Recognition.** Contributors will be listed on the EAMMI2 OSF page and will be noted in appreciation on any publications resulting from the EAMMI2. **Submit Manuscript Proposals.** Though each proposed measured has an intended lead author, there are many other potential questions. Contributors are invited to submit manuscript proposals. We ask intended authors to preregister their hypotheses so that any published paper is eligible for the [Preregistration Challenge][5] prize. Further instructions are available at the ['a priori hypotheses'][6] EAMMI component. Contributors are invited to convert their preregistered hypotheses into [Manuscript Proposals][7] at that EAMMI2 component. Contributors should not make a registration or manuscript proposal on a topic that is already claimed by a contributor. Where possible, authors with similar interests to coauthor should collaborate. Papers will be kept private from the public until the manuscript is submitted or published, the primary author holds this decision. All contributors have the opportunity to apply to be an author on any manuscript. The primary author will determine the degree to which authors are included on a claimed manuscript. Primary authors will recognize any project contributor who helps to write the manuscript as authors. Any manuscript must include a citation of this project OSF page and include an authors' note that provides a link to our contributors component. The Organizing and Planning Committee will arbitrate author disputes to the degree necessary, but will try to provide guidance where possible to avoid any conflict. Other Opportunities --------------------------- (you can serve in multiple roles):** **Organizing and Planning Committee** (Closed until January, 2017) Select measures, refine project plan, oversee project completion. This committee is filled from individuals who planned and created materials. This committee will try to arbitrate author disputes. **Pedagogical, Methdological, and/or Analytical Advisor** *Pedagogical*, help develop teaching materials to help faculty introduce authentic research into their curricula, to be determined. *Methdological*, help create EAMMI2 survey for internation implementation, help create instructions to contributors, to be determined. *Analytical*, help contributors verify appropriate analytic strategies to account for sample location, multicollinearity, or other complex analysis problems. **Proposing Additional Measures** This is CLOSED! ***Deadline was January 15th,2016*** Provide a brief survey (3-10 items) to be added to the survey. Provide a theoretical justification for inclusion of the items onto the survey (no more than 2 pages). Provide a brief statement of intention for the resulting data. Submit your proposal as a .docx or .pdf file to *Jon Grahe* at his PLU email address. **Updated Project Timeline** (as of July, 2016) January 15th - proposals for new measures February 2nd - Survey Selection Finalized February 29th - IRB approval at PLU March 31st - Qualtrics Survey Completed. April 1st - Data collection begins for institutions with IRB approval. Summer, 2016 - Data collection paused for EAMMI2 on June 30th Sept 1 - Data collection resumes for EAMMI2 December 1st - Data collection for EAMMI2 ends -------------**Follow-up email-information for new contributors.**---------------------------------------- WONDERFUL, Visit the EAMMI2 google sheet. After adding a bit more information there, please create an Open Science Framework (https://osf.io) account and I will add you to the project there as well when you tell me you have an account and are ready.. There is an instructions to contributors component on the OSF project with more details (https://osf.io/f24aj/wiki/home/) You can then use the IRB application and approval that are posted on that page (https://osf.io/teb9n/) to start your own. We will send you institution specific links to the EAMMI2 when you provide evidence of your IRB approval. Please let me know how I can help.
