Wiki Version:
This paper presents an alternative view of person marking in Chufie' (ISO 639-3 code [bfj]) informed by Cysouw (2009). It treats the basic subject pronoun system and presents compound pronouns which are made up of combinations of basic pronouns in various configurations. It will be seen that the compound pronouns are best described by a more balanced presentation of basic pronouns, referring to minimal and augmented types, and that this minimal/augmented set applies to both basic and compound pronouns.
