Personality and cognitive ability are two of the most consequential domains of human individuality. More than 100 years of research has examined the links between these domains, and yet most ability-personality relations remain unknown. This project seeks to provide a high-resolution, quantified view of the connections between personality and ability constructs.
These data were used in Stanek, K. C. & Ones, D. S. (2023). Meta-analytic relations between personality and cognitive ability. *Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 120*(23), e2212794120.
We delve deeper into the findings and provide richer interpretations and discussions of their implications in our open book: Stanek, K. C. & Ones, D. S. (2023). Of Anchors & Sails: Personality-ability trait constellations. University of Minnesota Libraries Publishing. https://doi.org/10.24926/9781946135988
