**Overview**
To test our preregistered hypotheses and validate the online tasks, 621 participants completed the battery in session 1, 52 of whom returned to complete the battery a second time.
**Processing Scripts**
Two processing scripts were used on the Gorilla output files:
- motorTaskProcessing.Rmd (this reads in and processes data from session 1)
- motorTaskProcessingS2.Rmd (this reads in and processes data from session 2)
To run these scripts you will need the following files:
- osf_dat.csv (contains data from session 1)
- osf_dat_session2.csv (contains data from session 2)
- NOTE: the vVHF section of these scripts will not run, as the sound files are not available on osf. If you wish to run this section of the script please contact Jack Grant (JGrant@lincoln.ac.uk).
**Data**
The processing scripts output two summary files into an 'output' folder:
- summary_data.csv (contains all session 1 LI z-scores)
- summary_data2.csv (contains all session 2 LI z-scores)
Additional files uploaded here include:
- pegboard_scores.csv (includes pegboard performance data)
- vVHF_exclude.csv (includes subject ID's of those who failed the manual screening of the vVHF data from session 1)
- vVHF_exclude2.csv (includes subject ID's of those who failed the manual screening of the vVHF data from session 2)
These are used in the final analysis script along with the two summary files.
**Final Analysis Script**
The final analysis script is used to test the validity and reliability of the tasks, and test our preregistered hypotheses:
- motor_study_inferentials.Rmd
This script writes the tables and figures used in the manuscript to the folder 'figures and tables'.
