# Investigating the Use of Native vs. Secondary Language with Data Visualization in Madagascar ### Supplementary Material This supplementary material contains the source code used to generate the analysis-related figures and the abstract paper. To run the code, Python, jupyter notebook, pandas and matplotlib must be installed. ## Links to the online experiments: * in French: https://vis-poster-fr.netlify.app/ * in Malagasy: https://vis-poster-mg.netlify.app/ ## Datasets Data collected from the experiments are located in the data folder: * ``interview_data.xlsx`` is a processed version of the collected data * ``vis-poster-fr-data.csv`` is a non-processed version of the data for the French experiment * ``vis-poster-mg-data.csv`` is a non-processed version of the data for the Malagasy experiment ## Analysis The notebook used to produce the analysis related figures is located in the script folder ## Results The 'results' folder contains boxplots and word count histograms for the study participants' responses. ## Abstract paper The abstract paper is located in the 'paper' folder. ## Poster The 'poster' folder contains the poster.
