Wiki Version:
This research documented a finer-grained portrait of the relationship between Big Five traits and loneliness. While more introverted and neurotic people were lonelier across all trait facets, only one agreeableness facet and one conscientiousness facet correlated with loneliness. Compassion and industriousness varied inversely with loneliness, but politeness and orderliness did not vary with it.
