The goal of this project is to explore the depth and breadth of evidence for the use of collaborative writing applications (CWAs) to support knowledge translation (KT) in the context of a worldwide pandemic. In the specific context of KT during a viral pandemic, the purposes of this review will be to identify and map the literature on the use of CWAs; describe the evidence of each application’s positive and negative effects; inventory and describe the barriers and facilitators that affect the applications’ use; and produce an action plan and a research agenda.
