Wiki Version:
We estimated the prevalence 𝜋 of the sensitive attributes for each the direct and the indirect questioning condition with maximum likelihood using the software multiTree (Moshagen, 2010). To analyze the association between the hypothesized predictor variables and the sensitive attributes, we used modified logistic regressions (Hilbig & Moshagen, 2014). This approach also allowed us to test the interaction of this link with the questioning format. We performed the analysis in R using the package RRreg which contains adapted models and formulas for multivariate analysis of RRT data (Heck & Moshagen, 2018).
