Wiki Version:
This repository includes analysis code and data accompanying [Tarhan, De Freitas, & Konkle (2021), *BioRXiv*][1]. The data include: **Stimuli:** 60 videos of everyday actions. **Behavioral Data:** These include intuitive judgments of action similarity from two experiments (1 original experiment and 1 direct replication). In addition, this directory contains judgments of similarities based on specific properties (visual appearance, movement type, or the actors' goals). **fMRI Data:** group-level neural responses to the 120 actions (previously published in Tarhan & Konkle, 2020). These data also include search-sphere reliability. --- Notes: All analyses were conducted using Matlab 2017b. They have been tested on the Windows 10 operating system. All known dependencies not already part of the MATLAB environment are compiled to a .zip file called "HelperFunctions." To install this code, simply download the MATLAB software and this repository and unzip the 'HelperFunctions' directory (estimated download time: less than 30 minutes). All paths within the main analysis scripts are relative to the script's saved location. Additional notes for running this code are in the analysis code files.
