Social anhedonia (SocAnh) in the general population predicts increased risk of schizophrenia-spectrum disorders. In family and genetic studies, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders have been associated with evidence of increased creativity (e.g., pursuing creative professions). The current research examined associations between SocAnh and one aspect of creative thinking, convergent thinking.
